Women’s Basketball Course
All women interested in basketball and fun group fitness are welcome to join the training sessions. No prior experience is needed—just bring indoor sportswear and a water bottle. The sessions are led by long-time coaches from Namika. You can attend one session for free to try it out, after which you will need to commit to the group. Register using the link to secure your spot.
The focus is on active movement, learning basketball basics, playing, and fostering a positive environment that supports active living.
Fitness Boxing
Fitness boxing is an effective and fun way to work out using boxing techniques and exercises in a safe environment. The sessions help improve fitness and motor skills, and you will also learn how to punch correctly. Each session includes a warm-up, technique training with a partner and independently, followed by strength exercises.
Morning Workout
The group meets weekly at Namika Arena, alternating between basketball and gym training. Basketball sessions are high-energy and fun, while gym sessions include strength training with weights or bodyweight exercises. In basketball, you can be a beginner or have some experience—either way, you’ll get a sweaty workout and keep up with the group. The sessions cover basic basketball skills and include gameplay. In the gym sessions, you can use weights and exercises suited to your level, and you'll learn strength training basics that you can use in your own workouts. Note: Morning training will not be offered during the 2024–2025 season.
Come try the activities without commitment. After one trial session, you can choose to continue or release your spot. You may also select multiple groups per week if you wish.

Season fees
If you participate weekly:
- In one group: €225 for the spring season
- In two groups: €420 for the spring season
- In three groups: €585 for the spring season
You can also choose:
- A 5-session pass: €99
- A 10-session pass: €185
In addition to the season fee, participants in courses will be charged the Helsinki YMCA membership fee of €25 per semester (a total of €50 per year).
The membership fee is billed annually in two parts (€25 for autumn and €25 for spring). The membership fee does not apply to those purchasing the 5- or 10-session passes.
